On 12/19/07 we had our poetry celebration! Our parents came in to read our poems and wrote comments in our comment books (made by Leila and Nikita). We (Abby and Andrew's class) had to pick three, four or five poems for a book of poems. Plus the kids also got to read each other's poems and write comments too. We felt very very proud to have our poems read in public. We got to bring in food and drinks. We had the publishing celebration first thing in the morning. [Nikita and Isabel R.]

What a great party! Poetry, food and family a great combination. It was so much fun to read all the thoughtful,imaginative poems. The best part was being able to talk with some of you about your poems. Thanks again I had a great time.

The publishing party was wonderful! I love to see Adam and his classmates and I love to see the great work you all do! Everyone is so proud of you all. All of the poems did just what poetry should do, made us really feel the feelings of the writers. Congratulations. Michele (Adam's mom)
